Just Imagine

Picture this.
You are a beautiful, wonderful woman married to a wonderful man. Together, you have 7 beautiful children. The oldest  is 13 and the youngest is 1. Your husband gets diagnosed with colon cancer, which eventually takes the love of your life. Since then, it has been 5 years. Your youngest just turned 6 and your oldest daughter is 18 and heading off to OSU. Then you get the news, that you, a single mother of 7, also have colon cancer. And now the fight begins again. This time, to save your own life and to ensure that your little ones will grow up with their mom in their life.

This is not just a silly scenario. This is reality for one of the best families that I know. For the past 5 years, these 7 "monkeys" have been raised by a single mother.

The oldest, Molly, is one of the best friends that I have ever had. We met when we were 8 and we instantly became inseparable. Through the loss of her dad, this girl became a second mother to her siblings. I love her so much.

This family has been through SO much and they have faced it all with amazing attitudes. So please. PLEASE. Keep them in your prayers. I would greatly appreciate it and they so greatly deserve it.
